Another busy week in McFly world! 4 Keep Calm And Play Louder gigs across England - Norwich, Southend, Reading and Hammersmith Apollo in London, which was filmed by David Spearing for Super City! Not sure when exactly the full-length gig will be available to watch, however this morning, David tweeted that it will take some time to edit, but he assures us that he’ll deliver a superb piece of footage! 

Also, we know a couple of the girls at HeatWorld (Heat Magazine) are huge McFly fans, and rarely miss a McFly tour. So it wasnt a surprise to see that they attended the Hammersmith gig last night. The girls who were there took to the Heatworld twitter to assure fans that the new songs are the best yet!

This week was an extra busy week for PONES! Not only was it a mental week with the tour, but also, Danny put on two OUTSTANDING afterparties in Norwich and London and Dougie’s clothing line Saint Kidd FINALLY launched! They have released just a few of the pieces from the collection (more to be added) along with accessories and backgrounds which are available to download. The website was very difficult to access for most due to the congestion on the page - Dougie said they were not expecting the amount of traffic on the first day! They tell us that the page is currently under maintenance and we hope to see it up and running again after the weekend. The other HUGE news of the week is that the GLEE mission - set up by our friends at www.missionmcfly.com generated A LOT of interest during the massive twitter take over on Friday evening. Not only did we manage to reach over 1000 sigs on the twitition, but we also received a tweet in reply to our spamage from none other than one of the music producers at GLEE! Which was amazing!

IN OTHER NEWS; The boys went to check out an “amazing” studio to record the 6th album, Tom reveals on twitter that he is contemplating a new tattoo, Tom covered the Beatles’ track “Blackbird” for his youtube channel and there is brief talk of Carrie supporting McFly on a future show.

ITS HERE! FINALLY! After weeks of planning, our friends at @mission_mcfly (missionmcfly.com) have launched their latest mission - to get the Glee cast of preform a McFly song on the show! The purpose of the mission is to spread the word of McFly in the US and other countries around the world who have not yet been exposed to their music! 

GLEE is a multi-award winning hit US TV show which has had success globally. And if McFly’s music were to feature on the show, not only would it showcase their wonderful lyrics to a different audience, but it would also give them the opportunity to gain recognition as a band in more countries, which would hopefully result in them actually visiting those countries! 

SO, how can YOU help us out?! Well.. first of all, we’re currently trying to trend #mcflyonglee on twitter (06/04/12 from 7pm - 12am UK time). By doing this, we’ll gain not only McFly fans, but GLEEKS who want to know all about it - instantaniously creating awareness and new McFly fans who havent heard of them before! It may also grab the attention of GLEE’s team, cast and other people involved in the show - again encouraging them to find out what its about.
