This week has been a very rewarding one for McFly fans! Firstly, McFly continued their UK theatre tour Keep Calm And Play Louder across Southhampton, Swindon, Plymouth and Torquay. And all gigs were as energetic and buzzing as the last! Also, Super City’s Webmaster felt very generous this week and decided to give away some meet and greets and other prizes to subscribers who have used the site regularly! 

After weeks and weeks of spamming, poster making, emailing, blogging, RTing and BEGGING! We finally reached our 3000 signature target on our Their Mag twitition! A massive thank you goes out to @McFlyMetro who discovered the organisation and set up the twitition, and, of course, to @theirmagcom for all their hard work and help in our mission to get our very own cover2cover magazine available around the world for ALL fans to purchase! Metro very kindly thought of us and asked us to join their mega team to promote the mag, and along with @fletchersource, @poyntersource and @mission_mcfly, we spread the word and recruited a lot of support and help from other great fanpages along the way which was great! It definitely restored McFly Army and showed that we really are a worldwide fanbase who support not only our band, but eachother! We’ve held some awesome comps this week for our twitter followers! We gave away some vintage merch containing a laminated Danny photo from the Wonderland tour! And we currently have a WoWee speaker to  give away which was kindly donated by Their Mag as a thank you and well done for reaching our twitition target! Us McFlyers have really dominated the twitter trending topics this week! Firstly, our TheirMag trend totally took over even the worldwide trends! Also, #Supercityontour managed to trend which was great to see! As well as ‘Harry Judd’ trending worldwide on Friday night, showing support for our Judd after his fantastic unique performance on Strictly Underwater for Sport Relief.

This week, Super City posted that McFly had been nominated for a “Greats Of Britain” award! We were already aware of this a few weeks back and the band were only 17th in the line up, but since Super City made more fans aware, we have shot up to the AMAZING 2nd place! We need just over 700 votes to beat Susan Boyle (I know, right?!) to first place.. so its YOUR duty next week to really spread the word & LETS WIN THIS THING :). http://www.thegreatexhibition2012.co.uk/greats/mcfly.
